Myraana was born out of a desire to make travel planning easier and more meaningful for busy professionals. As founders with a background in travel and technology, we recognized that planning unique, short experiences could be time-consuming and stressful, often leading to missed opportunities for discovering local gems. We wanted to create a platform that offers curated, hyper-local itineraries while supporting social causes. This journey started with a simple question: How can we make exploring new places more accessible, authentic, and impactful?
How did it all begin?
Myraana began as an experiment in making travel experiences more streamlined and community-oriented. We started by reaching out to local experts and professionals to test the idea of buying and selling unique itineraries. The initial response was overwhelmingly positive, validating the demand for short, hyper-local experiences that offer both entertainment and meaningful connections to the local community. With this encouragement, we quickly built and launched a prototype using low-code tools and refined it based on early feedback, gaining traction as users found value in these curated experiences.
What is your mission?
Our mission is to redefine travel by connecting people to authentic, hyper-local experiences that are meaningful and socially impactful. We aim to build a community-driven platform where travelers can easily access unique 2-4 hour itineraries crafted by locals, knowing that each purchase contributes to causes like mental health and hunger. By focusing on short, immersive trips, we help busy professionals make the most of their limited free time, while also supporting local communities.
